How we work
Start with one issue. Build a relationship as you grow.
You may need help with one agreement today and regular counsel as the business grows. We agree who will lead the work, what support you need and the fee before you commit.
Start with the business
Show us the product, explain the deal or bring the question you need to resolve. We identify the relevant documents, people and markets, then recommend a scope that fits the decision.
Know who is responsible
You have a named lead adviser who coordinates your engagement and keeps you informed. The proposal identifies the people responsible for the work and any specialist input required.
How AI changes the work and the bill
AI can compare a customer’s contract with your preferred terms, extract obligations from a set of agreements or help prepare an initial draft. That reduces repetitive preparation and gives the adviser a starting point to check.
Your adviser checks the wording and relevant sources against the actual deal. They assess the risks, recommend a negotiating position and review the substantive advice. The lawyer responsible for your matter remains accountable for the advice they provide.
Our fixed-fee quotes take that delivery approach into account. Routine AI use is included in the fee; you do not pay a separate AI surcharge. The price reflects the work, complexity and responsibility involved. Any additional scope is agreed with you first.
Build on what we already know
For ongoing engagements, we keep an agreed record of your key documents, previous decisions and open questions. When the next customer sends a contract, we can start from your agreed positions and the context already established. You spend less time explaining the business again.
Work across markets
Your next customer, investor or hire may be in another country. We identify the jurisdictions involved and confirm the expertise available before accepting the work. Where local advice is needed, we agree how the right counsel will be engaged.
Your lead adviser keeps the work connected across contributors. You know who advises on each jurisdiction, whether they are part of Postweb or independently engaged, and what their fees cover. Support expands around the matter, with responsibilities made clear at the start.
Your information
We explain the tools and information handling arrangements relevant to your engagement, including how AI may be used. Access, confidentiality and any permissions needed are addressed before client material is processed.
